Rebel in Motion is the creative alter-ego of Raquel Lafuente, an art director, 2D & 3D designer and animator from Navarra living in Barcelona.
Her work is based on the translation of concepts into an attractive and playful visual language. She is always looking for exciting ways to explain stories and for new stimulating languages. Raquel loves to push creativity to the limit breaking the rules of art and creative direction and experiment giving life to projects through unique animations.
Her work is not tied to a specific style, as an enthusiastic art director she likes to innovate and experiment mixing visual and animation techniques getting out of her safe space.
Rebel gives importance to the final result but above all to enjoy and have fun in the process to reach eye-catching projects.
This is why she also loves working with more professionals and exchange knowledge, exploring and breaking all the limits of audiovisual media.
Rebel can work as your freelance friendly studio taking a project from the start to the end, working just on one stage of the process, or doing solo director.
In solo Director projects, she builds small teams to tackle projects from the creative direction, to design, animation and final rendering.
Co-founder of FUSS studio, Raquel is also a teacher of 3D animation and Motion Graphics.
She dedicates her free time playing the guitar, skating, travelling, and getting lost in the middle of nature.
