Jo Fest!

Main titles of Jo!Fest. The first graphic design festival in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain). Filmed entirely in the city where the festival takes place, it combines integrated video scenes with 2D and 3D animations.

The festival logo was represented as if it were a slope and the exclamation point is the sphere that represents the creative entity. The slope is a metaphor for the effort and struggles we have to give to reach the top. The video culminates when the sphere reaches teh top and feels fulfilled revealing the final logo.
The sphere has been represented arriving in different typical locations of Vitoria. JO! means blow in Basque. For this reason, the music is inspired by a basque percussion instrument that emits sound by hitting wooden bars, th "TXALAPARTA".
